Hymn of the Delven: Freedom of the Desert

The desert cracks our skin.
The sun takes our water.
But we are free.

The oasis isolates us.
Creatures of sand consume.
But we are free.

The Divine watches.
The Divine gives to us.
And we are free.

    • My world 😉 The delven are a race of oily black skinned people who work the desert and became traders. They were outcast by man as abominations meant to be purified from the world, when in reality they’re the only ones maintaining the original faith of the land.
